Kane Sushi in Lafayette

The people and owners are super friendly and food is always delicious. I love coming here on my lunch breaks or getting something to go after work. Lots of different sushi rolls that will have you wanting to come back!

Solid menu and friendly staff. The sushi is always fresh and well made. The teriyaki steak and chicken combo dinners cone with salad and miso soup. It is the go to place for the whole family.

The food is consistently well prepared and delicious, workers hands over fantastic customer service. I loved how neat it is and vibes. Will visit here again.

This is my favorite sushi place in the area. It takes awhile to work through the menu as all the rolls are custom, but that's half the fun. Most of the rolls are hits, a few aren't, but you can build your own creation too. My favorites are the John's Roll (eel avocado with garlic) and Mitch's Special (spicy tuna, salmon and avocado)

At least 100 different 🍣 rolls. Excellent service. Food 4.2 stars / Service 4.6 stars. Try the Spicy Scallop & hamachi roll. Yum!

We LOVE Kane! We usually do take out but tonight did dine in. Their service was fantastic! Their fish is amazingly fresh and their portions generous. We drive 20 minutes to go here in spite of many other close sushi restaurants

I honestly don't know why this place has such high marks. The service wasn't bad, but the sushi reminded me of something you would buy at 7/11. The food is way too expensive and not high quality.

Mediocre, yet expensive food, and a limited selection; they did not serve ramen for dinner. Our first waiter was polite and friendly, but the person who gave us our bill was very rude and was obviously trying to get us to leave. Come here early if you want better food; the supply of most of their dishes had run out by the time we arrived at the restaurant (7-8 PM).

Homey place, good food, CURRENTLY NO LIQUOR LICENSE! It was a hot day, I wanted a cold beer... so I had appetizers and then went elsewhere for an adult beverage

I had fun with my family during my most recent stay in a nearby hotel creating my very own sushi. . The nigiri portions are impressive and wonderfully fresh. An amazing assortment of rolls, some very creative.

Fresh and tastey - always great

Let my pictures speak to how delicious the sushi was! I got the rum and mac n' cheese rolls. They were so fresh and flavorful! I havent had good sushi in a long time since moving to the Bay Area, but this place is the real deal. However, what really pushes this place to 5 stars is the staff. My waitress was so attentive and respectful, really catering to guests. I will definitely return!

Some of the most consistently fresh sushi in bay area. Occasionally they don't have our favorites because they purchase small quantities. Quality reigns over quantity.

Very interesting rolls! We tried 3 rolls that sounded different, and all were very tasty. Innovation! Their "toy roll" had gyoza in it, which turned out delicious. I've never seen that before. There was also a roll with garlic on it, which was fabulous, called the "nuclear roll". We tried a deep fried roll too, which was awesome. I highly recommend this place!

Little sushi joint on Mt. Diablo Blvd. Good quality. Fish was fresh. Lunch menu was a little bit pricey; but I'd go again.

Nice small comfortable location with very nice service that made customers feel welcome. Two of the fried rolls we tried were excellent, especially the unagi sauce! They also have a massive selection of rolls to choose from, so plenty of options.

Every time I crave sushi, that is my number one place to go to. However, I noticed the prices have risen a bit, but with their great service and wonderful food that is always fresh, it doesn't stop me from going. I am a local and know what the great sushi places are in Lafayette and Walnut Creek, and Kane never fails to disappoint me. Now I'm a very picky eater, so if this places satisfies me every time I go there, I'm almost positive you'll love Kane as much as I do.

This simple, cozy restaurant serves tasty Japanese fare. My friend had the tempura/sashimi combo and I enjoyed a couple of orders of ebit. My shrimp was fresh and toothsome. We'll be back.
